Achieve the perfect manicure with CND Vinylux:

Preparation:

1. File your nails into the shape you want. It is always a good idea to file your nails a little before each manicure, as there may be tiny nicks in the nail that you can't see, but which will weaken the polish.

1. Vinylux lasts a long time on the nail, so it is important that you do not trap bacteria between the nail and the polish. Therefore, use Scrubfresh or pure acetone, which kills all bacteria, removes oil and dirt from the nail. Remember to get well into the sides and out to the tip of the nail.

1. Shake your Vinylux color and topcoat vigorously for about 30 seconds. This is to mix the nail polish in the bottle and thus your nail polish will last longer. There are both thin ingredients that float to the top, and heavy ones that settle at the bottom.

Now you are ready to apply your Vinylux Nail Polish.

1. CND Vinylux dries quickly, so it is important that you do not fuss and correct too much when applying the polish. Avoid streaks by holding the brush horizontally. Apply 1 thin layer on finger no. 1 and repeat to no. 10. Continue with a 2nd thin layer on finger no. 1. You do not need to wait and the polish does not need to cover on the first layer. The second layer saturates the color. REMEMBER to seal the edge. You do this by also applying polish to the tip of the nail. This makes it easier to avoid chipping, as the nail is wrapped.

1. Now you are ready for the fantastic topcoat. It is really lovely to work with. Apply 1 layer on each nail and let dry – it dries quickly. Therefore, also remember to close the lid COMPLETELY when you are done and only have it open for as short a time as possible. If you are impatient like me, you can use Solarspeed spray from CND, which reduces drying time.

Removal:

1. Saturate a wipe with nail polish remover, e.g. CND Offly Fast. Let the saturated wipe rest on the nail for 5-10 seconds and pull the polish off. This way you avoid smearing nail polish into the nail and out into the cuticles.

1. It is important to care for your nails with oil – even when you have nail polish on. However, it is even more important when you have removed nail polish with remover. Nail oil, e.g. Solaroil, penetrates the nail and makes it flexible and resistant to knocks and bumps.
