Why you should use stamping nail polish

A stamping nail polish is a nail polish that is more pigmented than normal. A stamping nail polish needs to be so pigmented that it is fully opaque with just one coat. Often, stamping nail polishes are so pigmented that if you use them directly on the nail, they will stain your nails. Therefore, stamping nail polish is best suited for stamping.

The advantage of using stamping nail polishes for stamping is that the polishes do not dry quite as quickly as regular nail polishes. If you are a beginner, in my opinion, it is a really good idea to invest in a couple of stamping nail polishes. If you are unsure about colors, you can get very far with a black and a white. 

How do I know if my own nail polishes work for stamping?

You can check if your nail polishes are suitable for stamping by doing a test. If your nail polishes are a OneCoater, meaning fully opaque in one coat, they can often be used as stamping nail polish. However, I recommend that you use stamping nail polish for stamping to get the best experience.

You can buy a lot of different accessories when you want to start stamping. However, there are a few products that are essential when you want to stamp. These are; Stamping plates, Scraper, Stamper & Stamping nail polish (which you can find below)
