You remove the nail polish and you can hardly believe your own nails… no, your own eyes. You can hardly believe your own eyes – your nails are completely discolored.
There can be many reasons for this, and one of them might be yourself... Yes, you heard right.

How to avoid discolored nails after using nail polish.
Our hands get more attention than we might think. We shake hands, gesture when we speak, and sign documents. Our hands are our business card, and they should look presentable – especially the nails, as cuticles and nails are what we notice most.
You’ve surely noticed women with incredibly well-groomed hands, and probably also seen the opposite.
In other words – Discolored nails are not ideal, but that will soon be a thing of the past.
How do you remove nail polish correctly so your nails don’t become discolored?
First and foremost, it’s important to remember to use a good base coat before applying your nail polish. Unless it’s built into the polish itself, as it is with the CND Vinylux system. Very few nail polishes have an integrated base coat, so the rule of thumb is to find a good base coat.

How to remove nail polish without discoloring your nails:
1. Soak your wipe or cotton pad with a good and effective nail polish remover. I recommend CND Offly Fast as it is 20% faster and more effective than regular acetone.
2. Hold your wipe on top of your nail polish for 5 seconds and then wipe off the polish. Repeat if not all the polish is removed the first time.
Avoid discolored nails with these tips!
It’s important to remember not to rub the nail polish into your nails, as this quickly causes discoloration.
If you suffer from dry nails and cuticles, you are at greater risk of getting discolored nails. If your nails are dry, they tend to soak up and absorb the nail polish, making it harder to avoid discoloration.
Last but not least, be aware that if you leave your nail polish on for a longer period, you also increase the risk of discoloration.
