This fantastic design is made by Karina Lutzke. Super beautiful and actually quite simple to make. You can use your own favorite colors or use the ones Karina has used. Only your imagination sets the limits. With these nails, you are sure to get many positive and appreciative comments.
1. Apply a layer of basecoat
2. Apply cuticle protector around the nails
3. Apply Lakodom nail polish on one side of the makeup sponge and Winter nail polish on the other side
4. Dab Winter on the upper half of the nail, and Lakodom on the lower half. Dab the nail polish on several times until the colors are prominent and the nail is no longer visible
5. Remove the cuticle protector
6. Clean the cuticles with a brush and acetone
7. Apply a layer of topcoat. This is important so the nail polish doesn't come off when you apply the stencil. If you don't have wide nails, one stencil can be used for two nails. Cut it in half
8. Place the stencil on the nails
9. Apply cuticle protector around the nails
10. Apply Lakodom and Winter nail polishes on the same side of the makeup sponge as before
11. Now turn the sponge so you dab Lakodom on top and Winter on the bottom
12. Repeat the dabbing as before until you think there is enough color and the layer covers the previous one
13. Remove the cuticle protector and stencil
14. Clean the cuticles with a brush and acetone
15. Apply topcoat over the entire nail
16. Apply cuticle oil to the cuticles and hand cream to your hands
