Water Decals are a new phenomenon in the nail world. Water decals are a type of thin paper that you place over the entire nail. Water Decals take Nail Art to a whole new level and look very beautiful and advanced.
1. Apply a layer of base coat.
2. Apply a layer of nail polish with a French tip.
3. Remove the protective film from the top of the water decal sheet.
4. Find the right size decal for your nails and cut them out.
5. Place a decal in a bowl of water and let it sit for about 15-20 seconds. Work with one decal at a time.
6. Take the decal out of the water and gently slide it off the backing paper, then carefully dab off the water with a piece of kitchen paper.
7. Place the decal on the nail and gently press it into place with a makeup sponge, kitchen paper, or your finger. Make sure the edges of the decal are close to the nail. Use a nail, angled tweezers, or a cuticle pusher to gently press the edges in. Be careful not to press so hard that the decal breaks.
9. Trim the decal if it is too large for the nail and use a cleanup brush and acetone to tidy up the edges.
10. Use a thin brush and black nail polish to outline the decal.
11. Apply top coat to the nails.
