How to: Le Mini Macaron

Le Mini Macaron is a fantastic product that gives you the best of both worlds. With Gelpolish you get the strength and durability of GEL/Gel and the easy application of regular nail polish.

• Dries in ONLY 30 seconds under LED light
• The lamp comes with a USB cable (and regular plug), so you can always bring the lamp and your gel polish on the go, as long as you have your computer with you.
• Lasts up to 14 days – even longer if you use the Le Mini Macaron 3x Shine topcoat.
• Can be used on both hands and feet
• Le Mini Macaron is for home use, whereas CND Shellac is only available in professional salons.

Products you need:

• A starter kit from Le Mini Macaron. There are several different colors available.
• Possibly 3x shine topcoat and a remover kit. (recommended)

How to do it:

1. Wash your hands.
2. Push back your cuticles with the included cuticle pusher.
3. File your nails into the desired shape and lightly buff the surface so the Gel Polish adheres better.
4. Cleanse your nails with acetone, Scrubfresh, nail polish remover or the included pads.
5. Shake your Gel Polish thoroughly.
6. Start by applying an ultra-thin layer of your desired Gel Polish color. The thinner, the better the durability. Remember to seal the edge/tip of the nail with Gel Polish.
7. Cure for 30 seconds in the LED lamp.
8. Apply a slightly thicker layer, remember the edges/tips, and cure for 30 seconds in the lamp.
9. If you want to use the topcoat, apply a layer of topcoat and cure for 30 seconds in the LED lamp.

• As previously mentioned, it is important to wash your hands thoroughly before you start. Washing removes oils and any dirt that can affect durability. The result will be better and your gel polish will last longer.
• After filing, do not wash your hands. Remove filing dust with a soft brush or a wipe with nail polish remover.
• The thinner your first layer is, the better the durability. Wipe your brush thoroughly inside the bottle so you only get a minimal amount of gel polish when applying the first layer. Of course, you need more for the second layer so the color becomes opaque.
• IMPORTANT: It is super important that you seal the edge of your nail thoroughly. This will make your manicure last even longer.
• Do you find that you quickly get chips in the polish and wear on the tips after a few days? You don't need to redo the whole process. Just file the surface of the polish and repair the damage with your gel polish.
• When you experience regrowth, you don't need to remove all the polish. Just file off the top layer of gel, cleanse, and apply new polish – on top of the old layer.
• If you have very thin and fragile nails, it is recommended to apply more than 2 layers of gel polish. This will strengthen your nails and make your manicure more durable – also feel free to use the 3x shine topcoat for extra strength and durability.
